I grew up hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where my love for the outdoors began. My interest in conservation issues led me to DC, where I started my career supporting social media management, email marketing, and donor & volunteer engagement for environmental and social justice organizations.
Today, I am a writer and data-driven digital marketer based in Richmond, VA. I have 9 years of experience growing mission-driven brands through strategic communications and fundraising campaigns, both in nonprofits and now in an agency setting. I am passionate about leveraging impactful storytelling to engage new audiences and advance the causes I care about, including climate resilience, racial equity, food justice, public lands access, and more.

Digital Advertising
At YC, I collaborated with agency partners to manage multiple paid media campaigns, including successful stewardship of the Conservancy's Google Ad Grant. At MWD, I support advertising strategy and execution for several client partners.
Websites
I've created and optimized countless campaign landing/donation pages, maintained sites in WordPress and Shopify, and helped design and build web content such as the yosemite.org Climbing Hub.
Storytelling & Content Strategy
While I specialize in digital, I understand the valuable role of print collateral. I wrote a feature story for the Yosemite Conservancy Autumn/Winter 2022 donor magazine as part of our multi-channel marketing strategy for the Zero Landfill Initiative, a partnership with Subaru and the National Park Foundation.
Copywriting
I've researched and written about a variety of donor-funded grant projects, including science communications and historical reflections, like this one on page 36 of the Spring/Summer 2023 Yosemite Conservancy magazine.
